SYSN1 is for anyone who has completed the foundation training and is ready to take the next step.
We’ve designed the training for parents, carers, educators, therapists and yoga professionals wanting to expand their Special Yoga toolkit and go deeper into their practice.
Whether you’re supporting children, teens or adults, this training helps you meet them with greater skill and sensitivity.

SYSN1 is the natural next step after the foundation training.
It builds on the core principles you’ve already learned and gives you a deeper layer of understanding and practical tools.
It also prepares you for the final stage in the Special Yoga pathway, Senior Level 2, which is only available to those who’ve completed SYSN1.

The Foundation training introduced you to the principles of Special Yoga.
SYSN1 takes you much deeper. You’ll explore new therapeutic approaches, more advanced techniques, and develop a clearer understanding of how we meet the child or adult, however complex the needs. There’s also a new exploration of emotional and energetic aspects of the work, for both the people you support and yourself.

SYSN1 is delivered online over four months, combining live webinars, recorded content, and guided self-study.
You’ll be part of a small, supportive study group, with access to regular live sessions and reflective tasks to help you integrate what you’re learning.
The time commitment varies slightly each week, but on average you can expect 3–4 hours of learning, practice, or reflection per week.

We know life can be full; All live sessions are recorded and available for replay.
While we encourage you to attend live when possible (especially the interactive elements), you can still complete the training by watching the replays and staying engaged with your study group and tutor feedback.

Yes. Once you’ve completed the training and submitted the required coursework, you’ll receive a certificate of completion.
This confirms you’ve completed Senior Level 1 and makes you eligible to apply for Senior Level 2.
The certificate also reflects your continued development in supporting children, teens or adults through Special Yoga.

The full training is £695, with the option to spread the cost over five monthly payments of £139.
You’ll be given the choice when booking and there’s no added fee for choosing the payment plan.

Once you’ve completed SYSN1, you’ll be eligible to apply for Senior Level 2 the final stage in the Special Yoga pathway.
You’ll also have access to ongoing opportunities to deepen your connection with the Special Yoga community, including our monthly Senior Practitioner webinars.

Yes. SYSN1 is delivered fully online and accessible worldwide.
We’ve had students join from across Europe, North and South America, Asia and beyond.
As long as you can attend sessions in UK time (or watch the replays), you’re welcome to join us.
