Special Yoga for Parents
A Weekend of Support, Rest & Shared Learning in The New Forest
20-22 March 2026
Join us for a nurturing, parents-only weekend created to give you space to rest, reconnect with yourself, and learn practical tools to support your child.
Jyoti will gently guide you through simple, effective wellbeing practices designed to restore, nourish, and empower you as a parent.
This weekend gives you time to breathe, to connect with other parents, and to feel held and supported so you can return home with more steadiness, presence, and resilience. And tools that you can start to bring to your child.
You Deserve Support
Caring for a child with special needs is profound, beautiful, and often exhausting. This weekend offers a non-judgemental, inclusive space where all experiences are welcome. This is space for you to rest, be seen, and build inner resources that ripple out into your whole family.
This is a non-certified training. No previous experience is necessary - everything is gentle, accessible, and designed specifically for parents.
You’ll be guided through simple, effective wellbeing practices including:
Self-Awareness and Compassion – Develop self-care practices to nourish and restore.
Gentle Movement – Support for releasing tension and reconnecting with your body.
Breathwork Practices – Tools for self-regulation and managing emotional overwhelm.
Mindfulness – Building calm and steadiness in everyday moments.
Energy and Relaxation – Practices to re-balance your system and promote deep rest.
Tools that you can use with your children.
Limited Spaces Available
What to Expect
Arrival – Friday from 4–5pm
Ease into the weekend with tea, cake, and a grounding practice. After a nourishing dinner, we come together for an opening circle and a deeply restful relaxation to help you unwind.
Saturday
The day begins at 9am with Special Yoga practices, parent-focused learning, gentle movement, breathwork, restorative practices, and shared conversations. There will be dedicated time for rest, stillness, and integration — space just for you.
Sunday – close 5pm
We continue with guided practices and parent-centred exploration, again with intentional moments for deep rest. The weekend closes at 5pm, leaving you supported, replenished, and equipped with tools to bring home.
If it helps make the weekend more accessible, there is the option to stay on Sunday night and depart by 10 am on Monday morning. To arrange this, please email info@specialyoga.co.uk
