Why Special Yoga?
Children today are facing increasing challenges with anxiety, emotional regulation, sensory processing, communication and connection.
Special Yoga provides simple, adaptable practices that can help children:
✓ Feel calmer and more regulated
✓ Develop body awareness
✓ Improve focus and attention
✓ Build confidence
✓ Strengthen communication
✓ Experience greater connection with the people around them
Who Can Special Yoga Support?
Special Yoga has been used to support children and young people with a wide range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, PMLD and other developmental, physical and sensory differences. Rather than focusing on diagnosis, we focus on the individual child and adapt practices to meet their unique needs.
Who Is Special Yoga For?
Special Yoga is for anyone who believes that every child deserves access to wellbeing.
Our trainings support parents, educators, therapists, healthcare professionals, yoga teachers and caregivers to develop practical skills that help children experience greater calm, connection, confidence and resilience. Whether you are supporting one child or many, you'll learn simple, adaptable techniques that can be integrated into everyday life and professional practice.
